Gare de Nord (Paris train station)
We took the Eurostar train from London to Paris and it's awesome.
It only takes 2 hours and 15 minutes and you don't have to deal with all the airport stuff.
View of the Eiffel Tower from our flat. It is zoomed in a bit.

Another "had to do it" picture
I have one just as cheesy of me pushing on the Tower of Pisa in Italy.
Underneath it at night
From the Champ de Mars at night
At the top of every hour after dark the tower "sparkles" for five minutes.
It's hard to capture in a picture.

It's a HUGE museum. There are two wings like the one you see on the right.
And there she is
The less crowded part of the Louvre
Enough museums - time for a rest and some ice cream in the Tuileries Gardens

Arc de Triomphe
In case you were worried, I am not about to get hit. I was on a divider in the middle of the Champs Elysees.

It used to be a train station and is gorgeous inside, but no pictures allowed

We rode a funicular to get up to the Sacre Coeur

It seems like wherever you are in Paris, you can see the Eiffel Tower
Walking downhill from Sacre Coeur into the main part of the Montmartre area of Paris
Cafe des 2 Moulins
One of my favorite movies is Amelie. It is a French movie about a shy innocent girl living in Montmartre who loves to do good for others around her, usually secretly. She was a waitress at this cafe.
There were a few pictures from the movie inside the cafe.
My attempt at the cancan in front of the Moulin Rouge

You can rent little boats to float around the pond behind us.
One day we took the train to Versailles to see the Palace and had gorgeous weather.

The main Palace was Louis XIV's getaway from Paris.
The Grand Trianon was his getaway from the main Palace. Hmmm. . .

After six fun-filled days it was time to leave Paris.
Train ride from Paris to Amsterdam
I think I wore them out.
